Report on “The Malign Effects of Tax Havens”

Stepping Stones Fifth Meeting of 2017

The fifth and final meeting for 2017 sponsored by Stepping Stones hosted Revd David Haslam who set out for us at Wye as part of the  Methodist Tax Justice campaign how unfair tax arrangements divert money that could be spent on training doctors, nurses and teachers for example. The meeting was well attended and included a detailed and lively discussion and we are grateful to David for his highly informed and helpful presentation. Subsequently he conducted morning service at Cade Road and the Tea Service at Wye the following day. The second Stepping Stones handbook ‘Social Disparity and Christian Involvement’ is now published and details of purchase and content are available here.

Details of Stepping Stones meetings for 2018 will be published shortly.
