A new Study Course, led by Rev. Robin Blount entitled “How we got the Church”.
How we got the Church – a new study course with Robin Blount
We’ll start with what people wrote about Jesus in those early years, especially Paul in his letters to young Churches.
We’ll look at some of the early Ecumenical Councils, and at some of the early heresies, and the creeds that tried to fix what Christians should believe.
Then we’ll look at the Reformation and the birth of Protestantism, including the Methodist Church.
And then we’ll try to get to grips with the Church in our present day, and what the future holds.
