Rev Elizabeth Clark (National Rural Officer for the Methodist & United Reformed Churches from the Arthur Rank Centre in Warwickshire) will be coming to speak about her work and to share encouragement and ‘Good News Stories’ from around the country; plenty of opportunity for asking questions as well. This is a joint event with ‘Hastings, Bexhill & Rye Circuit’ – so also chance to make friends from ‘across the border’! Refreshments from 7pm, talk commencing at 7.30pm. ALL WELCOME!
We’ll start with what people wrote about Jesus in the first century, and pick out the highlights of the Church’s story through the centuries. And we’ll try to understand where the Church is heading in our own day.
