Historical records tell us that Methodists have worshipped in Lyminge in a variety of locations since the 19th century. The current Church building has been open since 1953; the previous building on the same site was hit by a flying bomb during World War 2.

Morning Worship:

A warm welcome awaits you at Lyminge Methodist Church. We worship on most Sundays at 11:00, however as a result of developing closer ties with our friends at Elham and Rhodes Minnis; we have a joint service once a month at 10:15, alternating between the churches. The style of worship varies dependent on the person leading but would typically be informal.

There are no upcoming events to display at this time.

The Tayne Centre market runs between 9am and 12noon on the 3rd Saturday of each month.

There are no upcoming events to display at this time.

Our fellowship runs “Knit and natter” each Monday at 2.15pm in the church. A Saturday Market is held on the third Saturday of each month in the Tayne Centre, our hall facility.
A very wide range of groups and organisations hire our premises resulting in the building being a hive of activity throughout the week.
